Writing and the Internal Logic of a Story: Sometimes I just smash genre fiction stories together to see how the underpinning worldviews of the authors interact.
I Used to Call Them Men’s Romance: The “men’s adventure” genre is not actually different from the romance genre. (I am not sure it’s still called men’s adventure, but it was in the eighties. But I’m talking about the sub genre of “spy/special ops/survivalist” pulp fiction.)

How to Socialize Your Aeriat: Imprinting and Husbandry: This is the second essay, and is mostly wild theorizing about how the proto-Aeriat and proto-Aeriat developed into the Raksura, and also some speculation about the Fell.
How to Socialize Your Aeriat Fell: Little Wolf Who Cried Girl: This is the third essay, and is about Consolation and her Flight. Who are all baby. Murderbaby, but still baby.

Reiterated Thoughts on a Divorce: A long time ago I wrote a post about characters Vlad and Cawti from Brust’s Vlad Taltos/Dragaera novels. I lost the original file, but was still peeved about people (cis dudes mostly) blaming Cawti for the divorce–when both parties screwed up.
